LEGO X-Wing winner

We promised to give away a new LEGO X-Wing (retailing between £60-70) when we reached our first 150 followers. Red Five PR's founder, Austin Brailey was a guest on the pilot episode of 'Red Rocket TV' and asked his former boss Phil Szomszor (also a well followed blogger on technology and social media) to draw the winners live on the 'Google Hangouts on Air' broadcast.

We wanted to be completely straight with this, anyone that followed us was in with a chance of winning (not just prospects or journalists) - we appreciated every follow. Equally, we were prepared for accusations of fixing if Austin's brother won for example. We were also prepared for a bot to win and decided that if it happened we'd try to track down the person behind the bot. We said we'd play it down the middle and we have.

The winners are given below. Please DM us with your current addresses and we'll have them sent out.

Please keep following Red Five PR - we're currently sussing out what we'll giveaway to celebrate our next mini-milestone.

The winner of the Lego X-Wing is.... @chrisinbrine

Chris will be battling the forces of the First Order with Poe's X-Wing Fighter. This customised starfighter is packed with features, like the 4 spring-loaded shooters, 2 stud shooters, retractable landing gear, opening wings, opening cockpit with space for a minifigure and space behind for the BB-8 Astromech Droid. There's even a loader with weapon rack, extra missiles and ammunition, and a seat for a minifigure. Chris will climb the access ladder, strap in and get ready to recreate his own great scenes from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The 'winner' of the Binks Bogey Prize is.... @grthdvd

Not only is Jar Jar Binks viewed by many as the franchise's worst character, he is sometimes labelled as the worst character in cinematic history. Couple this with the worst toy we could find and you have a pointless product. The Jar Jar Hero Masher's USP is that you can take its hands and legs off and replace them with those of one of three other characters - each sold separately - including Bossk (a bounty hunter featured for a few seconds in Empire Strikes Back) and 'Kanan Jarrus' (presumably someone from the expanded universe as we're never heard of him).

So here's hoping Gareth likes Jar Jar Binks but would prefer him to have the foot of a stormtrooper and the hand of a human...
